Concrete effect tiles, which to choose

Cement has always been considered a rough building material and only outlining the principle of an architectural project. Today, people are looking for a style that is considered modern, urban and metropolitan. A design that can be expressed with concrete effect porcelain stoneware. This type of tile reflects all the characteristics of this building element with a natural and dissimilar texture, for environments with a minimalist look.

A contemporary character that wins over all those open to innovative and new expressions, not only suitable for industrial-style lofts, but also for commercial premises expressing a certain contemporaneity.

But how to choose the best concrete effect floor?
Interior design experts have re-evaluated the revival of the industrial style, which derives from the desire to give a new chance to already existing spaces, giving them a visual impact of great effect, with a background with strong distinctive features.
Even stylistic choices, in dark or light colours, allow accessories and furniture with characterful nuances to stand out in all the rooms of a house, from the kitchen to the living room, from the bathroom to the bedroom.
For example, a “tortora” colour, practically between brown and grey, allows the room in which it is used to convey a warm, welcoming, elegant and soft atmosphere. On the other hand, beige cement-effect porcelain stoneware flooring can be used in large spaces such as kitchens, living rooms and outdoor areas, but it can also be used for wall coverings, creating more light and visually enlarging the area of use.
In the latest trend instead, the predominant colour is grey, which not only makes the habitat look natural and simple but, combined with the wood of the floors or furnishings, creates a pleasant, comfortable theme.

In addition, as well as being available in large sizes such as 120x120, concrete effect floor tiles are an excellent ally for outdoor environments.
For this reason, porcelain stoneware is also perfectly suitable for use outdoors, as it is non-slip, resistant to the weather and sudden changes in temperature, easy to clean and sanitise and retains all its distinctive features over time, as well as being fireproof, meaning that it does not release toxic substances in the event of fire.

Choosing concrete-effect porcelain stoneware for floor and wall coverings means opting for a very specific solution which, in addition to standing out with its particular expressiveness, embraces all the advantages that porcelain stoneware intrinsically possesses.

But what is also of particular interest is its maintenance.
While concrete effect floor tiles are durable and unalterable, especially if they are of excellent quality, cleaning them is no less important.
For perfect cleaning of cement-effect porcelain stoneware we recommend using a brush and a microfibre cloth, well wrung out, to be used on the floor vigorously with clean water in which to dilute specific products for the care of stoneware. Choosing this type of tile, which is large in size, also makes it possible to reduce the number of joints, where the material, often porous, absorbs dirt, liquids and stains, which in the long run become difficult to treat.

Now all you have to do is redesign your rooms with an Urban Chic flavour!
